This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
After more diliberation than the members of the G20 summit, i finally decided on which new camera to buy. The choices were either the 50D or the 5D MKII. I had the money for the 5D... just, but spending 2k on a camera still felt wrong..
The reason i bought the 50D was for the following reasons: 1). I don't need 21MP, even though i nearly convinced myself that i did.
2). Full frame is great, but i plan to do more portrait and macro so the 1.6 crop factor doesn't really affect me, in fact it kind of helps.
3). I have 3 EF-S lenses in my collection and they all get used regular, so i would need to replace with EF equivalents.
4). I have 1200 quid 'spare' for extra goodies now.
5). I looked around the deviants galleries that i watch and noticed that although some used 5D's the majority used everything from 150 quid compacts to Canon 50d. It proves that the best photo equipment you can have is a good eye and imagination..
